Workshop’s Early Bird Registration Ending Soon
December 11th, 2008 | Seminars & WorkshopsEarly bird registration for “From Ordinary to Extraordinary” ends on Dec 13 midnight. After that, you will have to pay the full fee of RM2000 and miss out on the RM200 early bird registration savings. I’m stoked to widen our international appeal with 4 participants coming in from Brunei & Singapore. There’s added motivation to surpass the high standards that we set last year and I’m loving it.
It’s always better to go away for a workshop. It eliminates the usual distractions from office & home and takes us to a fresh learning environment. Every time I did that I was rewarded handsomely. I’m certain you’ll be insipred as well.
Last night, Signature Photographers delivered our Dream Team album to Ho Yan & Eric, the couple who won the top prize at our “Great Eyes, Great Photos” workshop in August. This lucky couple had the rare privilege of having 7 Signature Photographers (Edmund, Jason, Jenny, Jim, Patrick, Zung and I) photographing their engagement session. Man did I see some mind-blowing images by my colleagues!
Here are some of the shots I did for Ho Yan and Eric around Pavilion. It’ll be ideal to have them model for our workshop won’t it? Let me know what you think of the shots.

The white particles are mist created by the heavy downpour. An off camera flash is fired opposite the lens. I love the mist, the tension of two pairs lips coming together and the lighting effect.

As always, I love the combination of spontaneity that each photo possesses and the everyday background that turned extraordinary through your vision. The shot with the mist is breathtaking! Should be sweet to have them in the coming workshop =)

Louis,
I like the expression in the 3rd image, you can feel that the bride is really into it and is enjoying the moment.
The 5th image works for me as well as you timed it just nicely as the lips are about to meet. I would have taken the shot when their lips met. Thanks for sharing this.
