Zarinah & Faz’s Wedding
December 28th, 2008 | WeddingsI’ve been photographing weddings for 3 years and this is the first Malay wedding I had ever photographed! I certainly hope it won’t be my last. Here are the highlights from Zarinah & Faz’s wedding in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Sorry I had taken me soooooo long to put this up. The pictures and album had been ready for years but I’ve somehow forgotten to put them on the blog. Enjoy…

I was just talking to Faz this afternoon and he was saying, “Louis haven’t gave me our photos yet!” hahaha…

Louis,
Greetings from cold, cold, Holland.
I was just showing the pics to a friend here a few minutes ago. And he said something along the lines of “Hey, he must be really good if he can make you look that nice”!
Thank you for the wonderful shots! I don’t think Faz and I have ever looked that good! Ever!
Wishing you, Jasmine and the team a very happy new year. Here’s to joy, good health and prosperity for 2009!

Zar: You have no idea how much your kind words mean to us. Thank you! When are you coming back from Holland? Faz must be missing you!

Yes, I agree with Zarinah. We love the pictures. The pictures really turned out great. I never knew pictures could create such a huge impact. I better get the original prints as Julian sudah buat booking to see it first

photo no 4 (diamond rings):
excellent artistic composition, louis!
however, the shallow DOF has placed the focus on the claw of the ring setting rather than the diamond.
perhaps increasing the DOF a little would be better in bringing out the glitters of the hearts and arrows?

Great job, Louis! I felt the emotions of every photo: humor, serenity, joy and a strong sense of tradition. Thanks for sharing, Zar!
