Malaysia’s Best Wedding Filmmakers
February 3rd, 2009 | Uncategorized, Weddings“Who would you recommend for wedding videos?” I get asked a lot. Without reservation, I will always highly recommend Wedding Story. Kee Sitt, the brain behind this exciting brand, got me to shoot his wedding a couple years ago. That was how I got to know him and his wonderful talents. Together with his wife, Sharon, they have since teamed up with Integricity Visuals.
What impressed me was how Kee Sitt and Sharon had lifted wedding videos from the run-of-the-mill kinda production to a cinematic and movie-like production.
In November 2007, Kee Sitt traveled with me to Rajasthan, India to film me in action. He did a marvelous job. I thought it is only appropriate to highlight this outstanding Malaysian talent, a humble young man with a HUGE vision for his art. Here are two video clips that Kee Sitt produced:

Highlights – From Rajasthan with Love
Kee Sitt, your passion and art have always inspired me to go further as a photographer. Stay passionate, soar higher, run further. You are Malaysia’s best wedding filmmaker, I say so without any reservation.

Thanks for the write up, Louis! I definitely agree that Kee Sitt has brought Wedding Story to where it is today with his passion. He has raised the bar for many videographers in Malaysia and is an inspiration to many.

Thank you so much Louis for this writeup and opportunity. I must say without opportunities I wont be where I am today. I am indebted to many people especially you who have supported, encouraged and motivated me during my trials. Going to India with Louis was the best thing that happened to me as a videographer. In my opinion, its one of the best work I have produced so far.
Thanks for watching and the wonderful comments everyone.

Kee Sitt: Not everyone is grateful for the opportunities and investment of time that people put into his/her life. You are one of the rare ones who know how to be thankful. You will go far. Bless you!

I was always somewhat cynical about wedding videos: grating and never really capturing the overall atmosphere of the day. When I first saw the work of Sharon and Kee online, I started to change my mind and started to realise that these sorts of videos could be fun and funky. I was lucky enough to have these wonderful people film my wedding: firstly they did an express edit of the wedding itself for our dinner reception which just blew us all away (brought tears to my eyes and my bestman to proclaim that that was the best wedding video he’d ever seen…)…and from that it was eager, eager anticipation until Jasmine handed me the copy of the full version of the whole wedding event… and we have watched it so many times already, with so many friends and family across the world, and I’m still moved by it, how in such a non-linear way captures the spirit of the whole beautiful day and of us, our family and dear friends. It is so ‘fresh’ in its interpretation… We now have something amazing to cherish for a long time to come, and we are very thankful to their amazing talents and the humble pride that goes with it. Kee and Sharon, we say again a very big thank you, and you certainly truly deserve every success. (oh, and Louis’s dancing in the video makes us chuckle every time….)

Simon, you are truly very welcome
I am happy to see your comment. It really means a lot to us. Thank you for believing in us and giving us the opportunity to prove the value of video.

Pauline and I got married last year and we didnt even go scouting for any other videographer than to just give the job to Sitt and Sharon. It was not a risk that we took but it was because we know that no one in Penang or in Malaysia as Louis puts it can match what they can produce. Truly…every Sitt and Sharon work are masterpieces. For the video i received, it moved some of us to tears and make us rolled on the floor laughing!!!
Sitt and Sharon, thanks for capturing all the magical moments of Pauline and I. May God continue to bless you both opening up more opportunities to bring you to greater heights!!!
Love, Terry & Pauline

Kee Sitt is good. But where are the others? I was hoping to see more wedding filmmaker(s) as you put it.
Can you please share with us more wedding filmmakers from Malaysia regardless whether they are good or still in the learning process? That would be a great help to couples out there or at the least, to justify your post title.
Influential people like you have the power to build young souls in this sector and I hope the learning ones can be given a chance.

Hope: I have the privilege of seeing how Kee Sitt & Sharon work and the final products–more than just a few times. That is why I have the confidence to commend and recommend their service. There are other talented wedding filmmakers, but in my view, there isn’t anyone else that come close to Kee Sitt & Sharon in Malaysia.
