Malaysian Contigent for WPPI 2010
May 28th, 2009 | Personal, Photography Tips, Seminars & WorkshopsLast Sunday, I spoke to a group of 30+ photographers on how WPPI membership, print competition and annual convention in Las Vegas can benefit their career. Special thanks goes to Grace who made the reservation for the venue and Alex who hauled his LCD projector from home.
I was just happy to share my own experience attending two WPPI conventions (in 2007 & 2009). I also worked out a realistic budget for the conventions. Quite a few of us have indicated that we would be attending WPPI 2010: Grace, Alex, Jenny, Ju, Zung, Patrick, Hafiz, Jasmine and I. It will be a cool experience to have so many of us there.
For most of the evening, I was catching up with old friends and getting to know new ones. The crowd really energized me with their enthusiasm for photography. Great meeting everyone!

Hey Louis ! I am so honored to be in the first picture …haha ! Anyway, been great pleasure meeting the man behind the blog which I followed all the time. Thank you so much for all the great effort and not forgetting Grace and Alex contribution too ! It was a Fun night and do look forward for the next one

Oh yeah, thanks Louis for the sharing. It was nice meeting you and all others. Thank Grace and Alex for the AV stuffs and not forgetting Amru for all the photos. Hope the next gathering can come sooner. Hehe!

Alex and I didn’t really do too much. Just booked the space and coordinated things.
Oh and we are still thinking of whether we have enough to make the trip to the US! Wah now you announce on yr blog that we are going, have to go already. Pressure pressure.
