Don’t you just hate flight delays?

Long waiting hours with nothing to eat, nowhere to sleep except the hard smelly airport chairs, not knowing when the waiting will end.

Strangely, that’s the perfect scenario for the beginning of William & Vivian’s great love story.

“It was the end of our Boracay holiday,” William began, “There we were at the airport at Boracay, Philippines, a group of mutual friends waiting for our flight back to Hong Kong. But the airline delayed the flight… kept us all waiting indefinitely.”

Later, friends of their group managed to secure seats on the next flight out but that meant leaving William & Vivian at the airport.

“The 7pm flight finally took off at midnight, but by then, both Vivian and I were absolutely exhausted. We fell asleep on each other’s shoulders,” he said.

And somewhere during that 2-half-hour flight from Boracay to Hong Kong – even though they were both so sleepy – love blossomed. (cue: awww)

Wait, you’ve not heard the best part yet… William still has the boarding pass from that flight…… awwwwwwwwwwwww.
